Hay Nibbles with Apple – Natural Treats for Rabbits and Guinea Pigs
Our Hay Nibbles with Apple combine our own milled hay blend with dried unsweetened apple. We make these naturally tasty treats ourselves in small batches using our own mill. As a result, we can keep the recipe simple and carefully control what goes into every bag.
The hay provides the wholesome base, while the dried apple adds a naturally fruity aroma and flavour. We never add sweeteners, binders, fillers or artificial additives.
Our Own Original Small-Batch Recipe
We developed this original recipe as part of our naturally flavoured Hay Nibbles range. First, we mill the hay to create the base of the mixture. We then combine it with dried unsweetened apple before forming the finished nibbles.
Because we make them ourselves, these are not repackaged treats from another manufacturer. Instead, they come directly from our own small-batch production process.
Slight differences in colour, shape and texture may occur between batches. However, this variation is completely normal when working with natural ingredients.

A Naturally Fruity Occasional Treat
Apple gives these Hay Nibbles a tempting natural sweetness. Therefore, they make a lovely occasional treat for rabbits and guinea pigs. You can offer them by hand, hide them around an enclosure or place them inside a suitable foraging toy.
However, dried fruit contains naturally occurring sugar. These nibbles should therefore be fed sparingly alongside your pet’s normal balanced diet.
Long-stem feeding hay should still form the main part of a rabbit’s or guinea pig’s daily diet. Always provide unlimited fresh hay and clean drinking water because compressed Hay Nibbles do not replace the benefits of grazing on long strands of hay.
Although these treats suit rabbits and guinea pigs, please check their suitability before feeding them to other types of pet.
