Burgess Excel Winter Berry Bakes are grass-based treats made with a seasonal mixture of cranberry, apple, kale, chicory extract and parsnip. These baked treats provide rabbits and guinea pigs with a tasty combination of winter-inspired flavours.

Each 60g bag contains natural ingredients with no added sugar, artificial colours or artificial flavours. Offer them occasionally as a complementary addition to your pet’s normal balanced diet.

A Seasonal Winter Forage Blend

The recipe contains a 4% winter forage blend made with dried cranberry, dried apple, dried kale, chicory extract and dried parsnip. Dried carrot adds another familiar vegetable flavour.

Cranberry accounts for 1.5% of the recipe, while dried apple forms 1%. Together, the fruit, vegetables and forage ingredients create the seasonal taste and appearance of these baked treats.

Because the recipe contains cranberry, apple and vegetables, it includes naturally occurring sugars. However, no additional sugar is added during production.

Grass-Based Baked Treats

Grass meal forms 35% of the recipe. Gram flour and pea flour help create the firm baked shape, while cold-pressed rapeseed oil is also included.

The treats contain 10.1% crude fibre. However, a grass-based baked treat does not provide the same prolonged chewing experience as fresh, long-stem hay.

How to Feed Burgess Excel Winter Berry Bakes

Feed these treats in moderation. Burgess recommends giving no more than one treat per pet each day.

Introduce the bakes gradually if your pet has not eaten them before. You should also consider any other treats offered that day to avoid overfeeding.
