Science Selective Adult Rabbit Food – 1.5kg, 3kg & 5kg Bags

Science Selective Adult Rabbit Food provides a tasty, balanced daily diet for adult rabbits aged 20 weeks and over. Available in 1.5kg, 3kg and 5kg bags, these high-fibre nuggets are suitable for every breed, including dwarf and larger rabbits.

Each nugget contains the same carefully balanced recipe. Therefore, rabbits cannot simply pick out their favourite ingredients and leave the rest behind. With 25% fibre, prebiotics, linseed and no added sugar, Science Selective supports everyday health and vitality.

High in Fibre for Teeth and Digestion

Adult rabbits require plenty of fibre to keep their digestive systems moving normally. Science Selective contains 25% crude fibre, making it a high-fibre choice for daily feeding.

The fibre and crunchy texture also help support dental health. However, nuggets cannot replace long feeding hay. Rabbits need unlimited access to fresh, good-quality hay throughout the day. The long strands encourage the extended chewing needed to support natural tooth wear.

Clean drinking water and suitable fresh vegetables should also be provided every day.

Single-Component Nuggets Prevent Selective Feeding

Muesli-style foods allow rabbits to choose their favourite pieces while leaving other ingredients behind. As a result, they may not receive the same balance of nutrients with every portion.

Science Selective uses single-component extruded nuggets. Each nugget contains the same recipe, helping prevent selective feeding and providing consistent nutrition in every bite.

The fully extruded nuggets are also highly palatable and easy to measure, making them a convenient choice for everyday feeding.

Prebiotics for Digestive Wellbeing

The recipe contains prebiotics called MOS, which support beneficial gut bacteria and healthy gut movement. Combined with the high fibre content, they help maintain normal digestive function.

Meanwhile, the carefully balanced calcium-to-phosphorus ratio provides 0.6% calcium and 0.4% phosphorus.

Linseed for Healthy Skin and Coat

Science Selective Adult Rabbit Food contains linseed, a natural source of Omega 3 and 6. These essential fatty acids help support healthy skin and a glossy coat.

In addition, the recipe contains important vitamins and minerals to support general health and vitality. It has no added sugar and is formulated to help adult rabbits maintain a healthy body condition when fed in the correct quantity.

Choose from Three Bag Sizes

The 1.5kg bag is easy to handle and store. It is ideal for smaller households or for trying Science Selective for the first time.

The 3kg bag provides a larger supply for regular feeding. Meanwhile, the 5kg bag is a practical choice for homes with several rabbits or customers who prefer to order less frequently.

Select your required bag size before adding the product to your basket.

Feeding Guide

The average adult rabbit weighing 2.5kg requires approximately 60–70g each day. However, individual requirements vary according to size, activity and body condition.

When changing foods, introduce the new nuggets gradually. Begin by mixing a small amount with your rabbit’s existing food. Then, slowly increase the new food while reducing the old food.

Always provide unlimited fresh hay, suitable fresh vegetables and clean drinking water. Store the bag in a cool, dry place.
