Hay Nibbles With Banana – Natural Rabbit and Guinea Pig Treats
Our Hay Nibbles With Banana contain just two natural ingredients: our milled hay blend and pure air-dried banana. We make them ourselves in small batches using our own mill. Therefore, we can keep the recipe simple and carefully control what goes into every bag.
We never add sweeteners, binders, fillers or artificial additives. In addition, the banana contains no added oil, sugar, honey, flavourings or preservatives.
Pure Air-Dried Banana – Not Fried Banana Chips
The banana in these nibbles is not the fried or sweetened product commonly sold as banana chips. Instead, we use proper air-dried banana with absolutely nothing added.
Air-drying removes moisture from the fruit without frying it in oil. As a result, the banana retains its naturally fruity aroma and flavour without needing coatings or added sweeteners.
This distinction matters because some commercially produced banana chips may contain oil or added sugar. Our ingredient is simply banana that has been air-dried.
However, banana still contains naturally occurring fruit sugars. Therefore, these Hay Nibbles should always be offered sparingly as an occasional treat.
Our Own Original Small-Batch Recipe
We developed this original recipe as part of our Naturally Flavoured Hay Nibbles range. First, we mill our hay blend to create the base. We then combine it with air-dried banana before forming the finished nibbles.
Because we make the nibbles ourselves, they are not mass-produced treats repackaged from another manufacturer. Instead, every bag comes from our own small-batch production process.
Natural ingredients can vary slightly in appearance. Therefore, you may notice small differences in colour, shape or texture between batches. These variations are completely normal.

How to Feed Hay Nibbles With Banana
Offer these nibbles sparingly alongside your rabbit’s or guinea pig’s normal balanced diet. For example, you can give one by hand or hide a small amount around the enclosure. Alternatively, place them inside a suitable foraging toy.
Long-stem feeding hay should continue to form the main part of your pet’s daily diet. These compressed nibbles do not replace the benefits of grazing on long strands of hay. In addition, always provide unlimited fresh hay and clean drinking water.
We created these treats for rabbits and guinea pigs. However, please check their suitability before feeding them to another type of pet.
