Burgess Excel Meadow Munchies with Dandelion & Camomile – 1kg

Description

Burgess Excel Meadow Munchies with Dandelion & Camomile – 1kg

Burgess Excel Meadow Munchies are compressed meadow hay treats made for rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas. Each 1kg pack contains 99% meadow hay with 0.5% dandelion and 0.5% camomile, providing natural flavour, scent and texture for pets to explore.

The munchies are made from specially selected, dust-extracted feeding hay. Their compressed shape encourages pets to nibble and work at the hay, helping to make feeding time more interesting.

Compressed Meadow Hay with Dandelion and Camomile

Meadow hay provides a varied grass base, while small amounts of dandelion and camomile add gentle botanical variety. With only these three ingredients, the recipe is completely natural.

Because hay and flowers are natural crops, the precise colour, aroma and texture may vary slightly between packs. These changes are normal and reflect natural ingredients.

High Fibre for Enjoyable Nibbling

Burgess Excel Meadow Munchies contain 52% beneficial fibre and 26% crude fibre. Burgess uses beneficial fibre to describe the total digestible and indigestible fibre measured through NDF analysis.

The compressed pieces offer a different texture from loose hay. As a result, they can help prevent boredom and encourage pets to spend time investigating and nibbling.

For a flower-topped hay treat, see the Burgess Excel Forage & Feast Mini Bale with Marigold.

Serve Alongside Unlimited Long-Stem Hay

Compressed hay treats add variety, but they should not replace fresh long-stem feeding hay. Rabbits and guinea pigs need an unlimited supply of suitable hay every day for extended grazing and chewing.

Always provide plenty of fresh hay and clean drinking water. For a traditionally made option, try our 3kg Devon Meadow Hay Mini Bale. UK Pet Food also explains the importance of hay for small herbivores.

Feeding and Storage

Offer the munchies alongside your pet’s normal feeding hay and balanced daily diet. Introduce any unfamiliar food gradually and monitor your pet’s appetite, digestion and body condition.

Keep the pack in a cool, dry place and close it securely after opening. Discard any pieces that become damp, heavily soiled or contaminated.
