Description
Rubbed Spearmint for Rabbits and Guinea Pigs
Our rubbed spearmint is a simple, aromatic forage for rabbits and guinea pigs. Made from 100% pure spearmint with no added sweeteners or flavours, it is easy to sprinkle through hay when you want to add a different scent and taste to your pet’s usual feeding routine.
Choose from a 25g or 100g bag to suit the amount you need. The smaller pack is ideal for trying the product, while the larger pack is a convenient choice for pets that already enjoy it.
A Fragrant, Single-Ingredient Forage
Spearmint has a naturally fresh aroma. Rubbing the dried herb creates smaller pieces that are simple to scatter through a hay box, forage tray or clean feeding area.
Because this is a single-ingredient product, you know exactly what you are offering. The colour, leaf size and texture may vary slightly because spearmint is a natural crop.
Easy to Sprinkle Through Feeding Hay
Use a small pinch as an occasional forage treat. Sprinkle it lightly through long-strand hay so your pet can search, sniff and pick out the pieces while grazing.
For a soft and sweet-smelling hay to serve it with, try our Devon Orchard Hay. Hay should remain the main part of every rabbit’s and guinea pig’s daily diet.
How to Feed Rubbed Spearmint
Offer rubbed spearmint in small amounts as part of a varied diet. Introduce it gradually if your pet has not eaten spearmint before, and remove any forage that becomes wet or soiled.
This product is a complementary forage and must not replace your pet’s normal feeding hay or balanced food. Always provide unlimited fresh hay and clean drinking water.
