Description
Nature First Willow Spiral Chew Toy for Rabbits and Guinea Pigs
The Nature First Willow Spiral is a woven natural toy that gives rabbits and guinea pigs an interesting shape to investigate, carry, toss and gnaw. Made from 100% natural willow, it provides straightforward enrichment for supervised play.
Each spiral measures approximately 16cm long and 5cm wide. Its woven shape creates a varied texture that curious pets can explore with their noses, paws and teeth.
A 100% Natural Willow Toy
The Nature First Willow Spiral is woven entirely from natural willow. It contains no plastic components for your pet to encounter while playing.
Because willow is a natural material, the precise colour, shape and thickness of each spiral may vary slightly. These natural differences are normal and give every toy its own character.
Encourage Carrying, Tossing and Gnawing
Place the spiral inside your pet’s enclosure and allow them to investigate it in their own way. Some pets may carry or toss it, while others may prefer to nudge and gnaw the woven willow.
You can move it to a different part of the enclosure occasionally or hide it loosely among clean feeding hay. As a result, the familiar toy can offer a renewed opportunity to search and explore.
Chew Toys and Feeding Hay
Willow toys support your pet’s natural urge to investigate and gnaw. However, they do not replace the prolonged chewing provided by long-strand feeding hay.
Rabbits and guinea pigs must always have unlimited access to fresh feeding hay and clean drinking water. For a softer, leafier choice, try our sweet-smelling Devon Orchard Hay.
Safety and Care
Supervise your pets when introducing any new toy. Check the spiral regularly and remove it if it becomes heavily damaged, contaminated or small enough to present a swallowing risk.
Keep the toy clean and dry. In addition, remove and replace it if it becomes wet, heavily soiled or develops sharp or loose pieces.
