Snuffle and Play Mats for Rabbits and Guinea Pigs
Our Snuffle and Play Mats turn a small portion of dry forage or treats into an interactive searching activity for rabbits and guinea pigs. Hide suitable pieces among the fabric features, then allow your pet to sniff, investigate and work out where the food has been placed.
Choose from two colourful designs: the Square Flower Garden or the larger Rectangle Vegetable Patch. Both are made from soft polyester fleece and have a non-slip backing to help keep the mat in place during supervised play.
Square Flower Garden – 40 × 40cm
The Square Flower Garden measures approximately 40 × 40cm. Its fabric petals and pouches provide several places for hiding small pieces of dry forage or an occasional treat.
Scatter the pieces across different sections rather than filling every hiding place. Changing the locations between sessions can help keep the activity interesting.
Rectangle Vegetable Patch – 51 × 61cm
The Rectangle Vegetable Patch measures approximately 51 × 61cm. It includes a carrot-shaped hay-feeding pouch together with a selection of fabric hiding places.
Add a small handful of clean feeding hay to the carrot pouch and hide a few suitable dry pieces around the mat. Make sure nothing is packed tightly and that your pet can remove the hay easily.

The Snuffle and Play Mats provide a simple way to vary your pet’s enrichment routine. They can be used for gentle food searching, supervised interaction or adding interest to part of a familiar enclosure.

Soft Fleece with a Non-Slip Backing
The mats are made from super-soft polyester fleece with a non-slip backing. A hanging tag provides a convenient way to store the mat between uses.
Shake out loose hay and food after each session. Keep the mat clean and dry, and follow any care information supplied with the product.
Safety and Supervision
Supervise your pets whenever the mat is in use. This is an enrichment accessory rather than a chew toy, so remove it if your pet begins chewing the fabric, backing, stitching or hanging tag.
Check the mat before every session and stop using it if it becomes torn, badly damaged or develops loose pieces that could be swallowed. Remove any damp, stale or soiled food promptly.
